National Engineering, LTD is a Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing engineering design firm with offices in Columbus, OH and Denver, CO. While we specialize in the food service and hospitality sectors, we are capable of handling projects ranging from retail to industrial. We are registered to practice in the 48 contiguous states, Hawaii, and the District of Columbia.

All of our professionals are trained in all aspects of MEP design including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, lighting and power distribution. This flexibility allows a project to be completed by a single professional or broken down to suit a client's needs. This approach improves the quality of our designs by limiting coordination across trades, increases cost effectiveness by allowing a single point of contact rather than two or three, and flexibility in the timing of the delivery of our design since we can share workloads as necessary.

Nearly all of our designs are completed using Building Information Modeling (BIM) with Autodesk Revit being our main modeling production tool. Our design methodology is to apply simple solutions to complex problems. We firmly believe that simpler solutions will be more cost effective and easier to maintain. In our design process we try to not only address the initial construction concerns for the client but also the ongoing concerns of operation.
